About the event:

This will be a dispersed gathering. At least four members of each parish will gather at their individual church. Each group will have a shepherd assigned to act as their leader for the session (see assignments in the church list above). All groups will be connected via Zoom for group worship and presentations. The Rev. Canon Whitney Rice, the Rev. Edie Bird, and the Rev. Marshall Crossnoe will be the presenters for this session.

One of our activities will include a walk outside around your church neighborhood, so please wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. If you are unable to go on the walk, alternative programming will be available for you.

Equipment / supplies needed:

Each parish will need to connect to WiFi to be part of this hybrid event. You can choose to present the Zoom meeting on one large screen for everyone, or each member can have their own computer device. If each member has their own computer, you will need to use headphones so you don't experience audio feedback.

All participants should also have an account with our online course platform.

If you are journaling, please bring your journal with you to use during worship.

Lunch:

Each group should make their own arrangements for lunch. Please be sure to include a lunch for your shepherd. You can upload your receipts to this Dropbox file for reimbursement. Please be sure to label the file with your church's name.

Registration:

One member from each parish should register their participants using the form below. Registration is due Monday, Oct. 10.
