Local student earns global leadership position

(January 30, 2023)
22-year old Logan Crews, grandson of the Rev. Dr. Warren Crews, has been chosen to serve on the student leadership team for the 2023 World Student Christian Federation.
Logan is a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Webster Groves and is a senior at Trinity University in San Antonio this year.
The World Student Christian Federation (WSCF) is a global federation of student Christian groups. WSCF is ecumenical – welcoming people from all Christian traditions and encouraging dialogue between students of different traditions. WSCF has members from Protestant, Orthodox, Pentecostal, Roman Catholic and Anglican traditions and from other faiths. This worldwide student organization emphasizes "radical inclusivity, global engagement, and rootedness in prophetic Biblical theological traditions."
Logan is especially committed to the struggle of the worldwide LGBTQIA+ communities to find justice and peace.
Along with his involvement in WSCF-US, Logan is the editor of the Trinitonian, the campus newspaper of Trinity University, and is an intern on the staff of the university chaplain. He will be graduating in 2023 and hopes to go on to seminary in the fall.
Congratulations, Logan!
Thanks to the Rev. Dr. Warren Crews for sharing this news!
