Holy Hike #2: June 25 in Cape Girardeau

Saturday, June 25, 2022, 9:00 AM

PLEASE NOTE: This event has been canceled due to the heat.

Due to the extreme temperatures predicted for Saturday, the Creation Care ministry has canceled the June 25th Cape Holy Hike. We were looking forward to seeing everyone there, but it is simply too dangerous to hike in such weather. Be on the lookout for upcoming events from your Creation Care Ministry. Thank you and God bless.
- the Rev. Kevin McGrane

Back by popular demand! Creation Care and Confluence have planned our second Holy Hike.

As promised in our announcement regarding Holy Hikes in the Diocese of Missouri, the team responsible for our hikes has scheduled a Holy Hike in the southern region of our diocese.

Our next hike will be held Saturday, June 25 at Cape Conservation Park North, also known as Cape County North, starting at 9 a.m. It is a popular conservation area in the Cape Girardeau area. We will conduct a Deep Green Devotional hike, stopping along the route to read and reflect on six passages from Scripture regarding the spiritual aspects of God's creation and our role in it.

Gather at shelter #5, near the lake trail.

*This event has been canceled due to the heat and will be rescheduled for sometime this fall.

Approximately 10,000 people throughout Eastern and Central Missouri find their faith home with us. About three-quarters of our members are in the metro St. Louis area, but our diocese reaches much farther than St. Louis. You will find more than 40 Episcopal churches, missions and faith communities as far north as Kirksville, as far west as Columbia, and as far south as Poplar Bluff (and many points in between).

If you are looking for a church home or a just a faith community to visit, we invite you to explore The Episcopal Diocese of Missouri.
