Diocesan Gospel Choir Prepares for 2023 Convention
Do you love to sing? You are invited to be a part of our Diocesan Gospel Choir and to sing at this year's Diocesan Convention.
This choir is led by Harry Moppins, musician and member of the Episcopal Church of St. Michael & St. George in Clayton. The choir will sing during our convention Eucharist, which will take place late afternoon/early evening on Friday, Nov. 3 (exact time to be announced).
All vocal ranges, all ages, and people with any amount of singing experience are invited. We would love for this to be a choir made up of members of our entire diocese. Whether you live inside or outside the St. Louis area, we will send you music to practice on your own and then ask you to come together with the group for at least one of the rehearsals.
Rehearsals will be held:
Saturday, Oct. 21
10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
and
Saturday, Oct. 28
1 - 3 p.m. (Please note the new time!)
Both rehearsals will be held at
The Episcopal Church of St. Michael & St. George. (in St. George's Chapel)
6345 Wydown Blvd., Clayton
The music selections for this year's choir are "In Bright Mansions" and "He Never Failed Me Yet." Download the music here:
