Creation Care Movie Group: The Biggest Little Farm

Wednesday, December 1, 2021, 7:00 PM

The Diocesan Creation Care Ministry team is starting a new movie group... and we'd love to have you join us!

  • Do you like to discuss movies?
  • Are you interested in all of God’s creation?
  • Do you want to become connected with people throughout the diocese?

If you answered yes to any one of these questions, then this movie group is for you!

How it works: Each month a movie will be selected by group leader Lesley McIntire or other members of the Creation Care Team. Before the meeting, watch the movie on one of the streaming services (some have a rental fee) or check it out of your local library. Then on the designated date, click on the zoom link and join the discussion.

Our First Movie: The Biggest Little Farm

Watch the movie on your own, then join the Zoom discussion Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.

“The Biggest Little Farm” follows two dreamers and their beloved dog when they make a choice that takes them out of their tiny L.A. apartment and into the countryside to build one of the most diverse farms of its kind in complete coexistence with nature.

The movie is available on Hulu (free) or Amazon Prime (rental fee $3.99). The film can also be checked out from many public libraries.

Welcome from Our Bishop Find a Church Diocesan Calendar Clergy Resources

We believe in a loving, life-giving and liberating God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe God loves you -- no exceptions!

We invite you to be a part of our faith journey.

The Rt. Rev. Deon K. Johnson is the leader of our diocese. He was elected as our bishop on Nov. 23, 2019, and ordained on June 13, 2020, at Christ Church Cathedral in St. Louis.

Learn More

Approximately 10,000 people throughout Eastern and Central Missouri find their faith home with us. About three-quarters of our members are in the metro St. Louis area, but our diocese reaches much farther than St. Louis. You will find more than 40 Episcopal churches, missions and faith communities as far north as Kirksville, as far west as Columbia, and as far south as Poplar Bluff (and many points in between).

If you are looking for a church home or a just a faith community to visit, we invite you to explore The Episcopal Diocese of Missouri.
