Beautiful Bridges Training Event

As we make our way through a contentious election year, the Diocese of Missouri wants to bring people together and help heal the many divides we're all experiencing. Whether the divides are political, racial, social, or theological, we're being called to build bridges to deal with the challenges of reconciliation.
Beautiful Bridges is our initiative for sharing the peace. We're inviting teams from all congregations in our diocese to take part in a one-morning in-person training event:

The Episcopal Church of St. Michael & St. George

This training will be led by the Rev. Aaron Rogers, Diocesan Ministry Developer, and David Pickersgill from Barry Wehmiller, a locally-based company dedicated to improving people-centered leadership (see David's bio below the registration form).
Each congregational team should be made up of the following members:
- 1 clergy member
- 1 Vestry / Bishop's Committee member
- 2-3 Lay members
- Additional members are also welcome!

About David Pickersgill:
David Pickersgill is a learning specialist and educator who is experienced at helping people grow and learn together, both inside and outside of the Church. He was ordained in the Church of England in 2013, having attended seminary at Cambridge University, and spent seven years working in parish ministry in the UK. He took a Masters degree in Psychology, and moved to the USA in 2022. He now works for Barry Wehmiller, a global company with a unique culture of caring. His job involves outreach to university MBA programs, as well as training in the company, teaching on concepts including trust, listening, and caring confrontation. In partnership with the Chapman Foundation for Caring Communities he has been working with the Church of St. Michael and St. George on their Listening with Love Initiative – giving people practical tools to help them express the love of Christ. He lives in Glendale with his wife, two daughters, and two English Cockapoos.
