Members from throughout the Emery Washington Convocation came to the Episcopal Church of All Saints and Ascension in Northwoods to celebrate their convocation's namesake, the Rev. Emery Washington. Bishop Deon Johnson, in consultation with the Diocesan Pandemic Task Force, is lifting the majority of COVID-related restrictions in our churches. We ask for your prayers for our friends in our Companion Diocese of Puerto Rico as they struggle to recover from yet another devastating natural disaster. The Bible is our shared story. And that story continues today -- in the churches and people of The Diocese of Missouri. As communicators, it's our job to share those stories! Every congregation in the Diocese received a check for $1,000 early in 2022. Now Bishop Deon wants you to show the Diocese how you served your community with that gift. The Rev. Deacon Angela Ferree was born in England. She shares a sweet memory of (almost) meeting then-Princess Elizabeth. In a city of historical landmarks, Trinity Church stands as a beacon of past and present service to the community. At this time I share with you that my office has completed the investigative review of the SafeChurch policy violations at the 2022 session of Camp Phoenix. Clergy, lay delegates, convention officers, committee members, volunteers, vendors, and guests should register to attend the 183rd Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri.
