St. Paul's Episcopal Church is the small town of Sikeston in southeast Missouri, where members are like family and community service is a priority. The Episcopal Church has awarded the Diocese of Missouri a grant of $26,700 for our Requiem or Renaissance program. Pat Partridge from Christ Church Cathedral brings us background on hymn traditionally written for a blessing of the crops. We encourage all churches in the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri, and throughout this nation, not only to pray but to be a people of prayer, to stand against hatred, to kneel in humility with those bereaved, and to consistently orient ourselves toward the cross of Jesus the Christ that we may stand in sacred solidarity with those who are persecuted. Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Webster Groves has compiled Words of Wisdom to share with children and youth of their parish and the Diocese. By the grace of God and the consent of God's people, the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri is pleased to invite you to witness the ordinations of Joshua David Huber and Margaret Barry Goldstein to the Sacred Order of Priests and Mtipe Dickson Koggani, Erin Pickersgill, and Jessica Brooke Wachter to the Sacred Order of Deacons. St. Peter's Episcopal Church is nestled in the beautiful and affluent suburb of Ladue, just west of St. Louis. Along with their heart for outreach, St. Peter's is dedicated to offering spirit-filled experiences for its own members. The Rev. Brooke Myers introduces us to a hymn that fits perfectly with this week's Collect and Gospel, which identify Jesus as the Way, the Truth and the Life. Applications are now being accepted for counselors and staff positions at Camp Phoenix, the official summer camp of the Diocese of Missouri.
