Creating Good Trouble: Celebrating social justice work in the diocese
Saturday, Dec. 5
10 - 11:30 a.m.
Join your brothers and sisters in the Diocese of Missouri for a celebration of the work we've done this year oriented toward building justice and equity in our communities. The Diocesan Commission on Dismantling Racism is hosting a 90-minute virtual celebration conference on Dec. 5.
This "virtual" version of our regular annual event will include an opportunity for ministry leaders engaged in the work of dismantling racism, building social justice and "creating good trouble" to trade examples of their work, encourage one another and consider how to continue the work in 2021.
We'll also hand out a list of ministry initiatives our parishes want to spread the word about. What's the most interesting, important or impactful initiative your parish accomplished this year? Send a short paragraph describing it to email@example.com by Nov. 30.
The formal program starts at 10 a.m. and runs till 11:30 a.m., but you're encouraged to join at 9:30 for a chance to "mingle" virtually with others.
Please let us know you'll join us by registering online ahead of time. You'll receive the Zoom call information after you register.
