In St. Louis City and County for 2020, opioid overdoses are up 32% overall. Among Black people in St. Louis, they're up by 54%.

What can we do about it? We can get trained -- and encourage our Wardens, vestry members, and parishioners to be trained -- on administering Narcan to people who are overdosing on opioids.

The Episcopal Recovery Ministries Committee has developed a website with links to resources for addicts and those who love them.

Click here and you'll be taken to a page on that website that contains a link to Narcan training.

Once your parish is trained, contact the Rev. Sally Weaver or any member of the Committee (listed on the website) and we'll furnish your church with doses of free Narcan.

You could save a life.
