My name is Alexandrea Nessi (she/her) and  I am a recent graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance. I was raised in Wenatchee, Washington, but have spent the last five years of my life in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Prior to this year, I was on track to become a professional opera singer, but I have recently come to the realization that the performance life is not the most fulfilling life that I could live. I have felt an intense call to service through activism and community care and decided to enter into a year of service with Episcopal Service Corps to discern how I can live into a rhythm of life that honors that call.

I am working for the Inter-Faith Committee on Latin America (IFCLA) during my year at Deaconess Anne House, and I am honored and excited to be working with passionate people to support our Latino community.

In my spare time, I love to hike, skate, write, create and appreciate art, and meditate!
