The Very Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas believes white supremacy is a health crisis in our country and she says our faith communities need to lead the way to God's just future.

Bishop-elect Deon Johnson invited the noted theologian to address a Zoom meeting of clergy from the Diocese of Missouri, the Diocese of West Missouri, and the Central States Synod, ELCA. Nearly 100 people attended the June 10 webinar.

Along with being a truly inspirational speaker, Canon Kelly's credits include:

  • Dean, Episcopal Divinity School at Union Theological Seminary
  • Bill and Judith Moyers Chair in Theology, Union Theological Seminary
  • Canon Theologian, Washington National Cathedral
  • Theologian in Residence, Trinity Church Wall Street.

All are invited to watch her presentation below. We hope it makes you think, engage in conversation, and take action.
