Lincoln trip to Springfield, IL

Members of the Diocesan Dismantling Racism Commission invite you to explore the life of Abraham Lincoln as they make a day trip to historic Springfield, IL. 

The group is renting a restroom-equipped motorcoach to travel to Springfield on Saturday, April 18. They have an extra 20 seats available and are inviting others in the diocese to come along. The cost for the trip is $30 per person. This fee includes all entrance fees, but not meals. Full scholarships are available to youth who would like to attend (parent or guardian must accompany youth). 

We will depart and return from the parking lot of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Creve Coeur (you may leave your cars there). The trip includes a stop at the Lincoln Tomb, the Lincoln Home and the Lincoln Museum. The bus leaves at 7:45 a.m. and will return to St. Louis at approximately 7:15 p.m. 

All registrations and payments must be done through the mail. Please download THIS FLYER, fill out the form at the bottom of the page, and return it with your payment to the Diocesan offices no later than March 16. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

2:15 p.m.      Lincoln Museum & enhancement activity
5:10 p.m.     Leave Springfield
7:15 p.m.      Arrive at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church,
                         808 N. Mason Road, Creve Coeur

$30 per person (does not include meals)
