Repairing the Breach Through the Lens of Economic Justice

 The Dismantling Racism Commission invites all to a morning of engaging discussion as we gather for our annual event to celebrate the life and ministry of the Episcopal Church's first black priest, Absalom Jones. 

This year's event will feature guest speaker Valerie E. Patton, the Senior Vice President of Economic Inclusion and Talent Attraction and the Executive Director of St. Louis Business Diversity Initiative. We'll gather in the Cathedral Nave for our keynote speaker, then engage in breakout sessions focusing on health, employment, education and wealth. 

Breakfast snacks and lunch will be served. Child care will be provided to those who register.

Blessed Absalom Jones offering to assist Episcopal Historically Black Colleges and University

Presiding Bishop Michael Curry invites Episcopalians to deepen their participation in Christ’s ministry of reconciliation by dedicating offerings at observances of the Feast of Absalom Jones to support the two remaining Episcopal Historically Black Colleges and University (HBCUs): St. Augustine’s University in Raleigh, NC, and Voorhees College in Denmark, SC.
