The diocesan profile is complete and online.

What appears online in a twenty page narrative about the Diocese of Missouri is a work of faith, love, and dedication.  It began with the careful listening to the many voices around the diocese.  It was then molded into a narrative that reflected what the Search/Nominating committee heard.  We studied carefully the responses of the survey and its findings, we studied the pages of raw data that we took at each Holy Listening session and we wrote with those voices in our heads. In an effort to be truthful and transparent we shared some things that may be for some difficult to hear but they are the challenges we heard in our diocese.  It was the charge of the Search/Nominating committee to create a profile that shares the beauty of our diocese, our challenges and the hope we share.  We aspire to attract candidates that hear our voices and the sweet whisper of a faith filled  community that seeks and calls a shepherd to walk with us into the next season of our church.

Many hands, thoughtful hearts, editors, writers, storytellers and creators worked together to produce the profile.  When you see these amazing folks, please say a kind thank you for the weeks, days, and hours that helped our project take flight.  Please thank members of the Search/Nominating committee and our profile designer Hope Jernagan of Creative Consulting.  Please hold our diocese in your prayers that our profile may attract our next bishop and leader.
