Request for Skilled Flood Helpers

On June 12 through June 16, a crew of seven men and three women from the Diocese of Iowa will be in the Jefferson/Franklin County area under the supervision of the Salvation Army to rebuild residences impacted by the floods.  We are seeking a few congregants from our diocese to work with them.  If you have any one of the following skills, please consider helping with the flood rebuilds for one or two days during that week:  flooring, concrete, drywall, electrical, HVAC, insulation, masonry, painting, plumbing, or roofing.

To help out, please contact your metro Disaster Deacon Jerre Birdsong at jebirdsong@att.net.  There will likely be other opportunities to help in the future as well.  If you cannot make these June dates, but would like to be notified of future times, please let Jerre know of your interest.
