Reconciliation & Reparations: Lent 2024 at Christ Church Cathedral
Sunday, February 25, 2024, 9:10 AM
The Catechism tells us that “…the mission of the Church is to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ” and that the “…ministry of lay persons is…to carry on Christ’s work of reconciliation in the world…” (page 855 BCP)
The 2024 Christ Church Cathedral Lenten Program examines Reconciliation & Reparation as our ministry for racial justice in the world — to restore ourselves and others to unity with God and each other in Christ.
The series of presentations and discussions, sponsored and presented by the CCC Pursuing Racial Justice Committee, will set a framework to address a series of questions relating to racial injustice, reconciliation, and reparations.
Our question for Sunday, Feb. 25 is:
What efforts are underway to address racial inequity through reparations?
