Lenten Opportunities from Mercy Conference and Retreat Center

The following are Lenten opportunities from Mercy Conference and Retreat Center in St. Louis:

Surrender All to Love: An Online Lenten Retreat of Art & Reflection

Workshop begins Wednesday, Feb. 17
2 - 4 p.m.
Zoom

Mercy Conference and Retreat Center is pleased to offer this special Lenten Retreat in collaboration with Mercy Center Burlingame, a sister retreat ministry of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas.

Join artist Jen Norton for an art project and Lenten reflection on Jesus’ extravagant display of transforming love and mercy.

Using Jen’s book, Surrender All (Ave Maria Press) as a starting point, Jen and Mary DuQuaine, Director of Mercy Center Burlingame, will guide our walk together as we meditate on the Stations of the Cross. Then, Jen will guide you in creating a unique piece of expressive art that examines your own heart, finding clues to your mission call.

The workshop will begin on Ash Wednesday, February 17 with a live opening session on Zoom. We will continue for the 6 weeks of Lent by viewing pre-recorded art classes and reflections that you can access any time.

Approximately 10,000 people throughout Eastern and Central Missouri find their faith home with us. About three-quarters of our members are in the metro St. Louis area, but our diocese reaches much farther than St. Louis. You will find more than 40 Episcopal churches, missions and faith communities as far north as Kirksville, as far west as Columbia, and as far south as Poplar Bluff (and many points in between).

If you are looking for a church home or a just a faith community to visit, we invite you to explore The Episcopal Diocese of Missouri.
