Cycle & Center: Discover the Peace & Power of Prayerful Pedaling
Saturday, October 23, 2021, 10:00 AM
Confluence: A Center for Spirituality invites all ages to enjoy a leisurely bike ride around Creve Coeur Lake and discover the peace and power of prayerful pedaling.
Cycle & Center begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23. Bring your own bike, snacks and water and gather at the Taco Bell Shelter. Ride as far as you want on a paved trail -- less than 4 miles, 7 miles, or 14 miles. The Rev. Jerre Birdsong and the Rev. Emily Hillquist Davis will lead spiritual readings and kinetic contemplation along the route.
Or if you don't feel like pedaling, you're invited to stay at the Taco Bell Shelter where the Rev. Susie Skinner will lead meditations from 10-11 a.m.
After the Cycle and Center is over, ambitious cyclists may wish to continue on the Katy Trail, which is accesible from Creve Coeur Park.
Children are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult.
The shelter holds 50 people, so the event will take place, rain or shine.
