Confluence: A Center for Spirituality in the Diocese of Missouri is hosting a Taizé prayer service on New Year's Eve.
Please join us:
Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022
5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Christ Church Cathedral
1210 Locust Street, St. Louis
This time of prayer, chanting, and meditation is based on the worship of the Taizé Community in Burgundy, France, an ecumenical monastic order founded amid the turmoil of World War II. In the midst of that darkness, the brothers imagined and created a place of peace, centering, reconciliation and light for all people.
The cantor for this service is Arianna Aerie, a soprano professional noted as one of St. Louis’ finest singers. She will be accompanied by, David Sinden, Director of Music at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Ladue, Missouri.
As we look into the New Year of 2023, please join us in worship that will be a source of peace, light, and strength for you.
