A Discovery and Exploration of Your True and Sacred Self
Women's Retreat and Workshop
Presented by Anne Ginn
October 2, 2021
8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
The Church of St. Michael & St. George or via Zoom
This retreat and workshop introduces participants to the Enneagram, a spiritual system designed to bring about a deeper understanding of your unique identity with God, yourselves and others.
Have you ever wondered why you respond and react as you do? Why your responses and viewpoints to life and its circumstances differ or are similar to those of others?
The Enneagram consists of nine distinct personality types, each designated with a number, that drive our actions and patterns of thinking. While we may see ourselves in several of the types, we each identify with one basic personality type. In our day together, we will explore the types and help you discover your type. This is a holy process and takes time to uncover the patterns that are helpful gifts as well as those that cause recurring challenges.
By understanding your type, you can prayerfully begin to live more fully into your gifts and become unburdened by obstacles that interfere in relationships with God, yourself and others. By working with your Enneagram type, you begin to see beyond the conditioned responses to life and reach a deeper, God-given awareness of your truest, freest self.
Additionally, knowing your type will enhance your faith life. We will look at prayers that are well suited to each type and how our type influences ways we see and experience God. In other words, we will look at nine ways to love God, ourselves, and others more freely and fully.
