I will sing of your love forever; I will sing of your love forever....
Advent is coming dear friends in Christ... and we need this Advent more than ever. We will be reminded and uplifted as the Psalmist, Prophet Zechariah, and author of Luke’s Gospel speak to us afresh this Advent of hope, God’s steadfast love and promise of love for the whole beautiful diversity of humanity and creation. An ever promised love standing firmly upon the foundations of the Divine One’s promise and Holy Covenants. John the Baptist who will “go before the Savior to prepare his ways” (Lk. 1: 73-79); to prepare and renew Jesus’ ways in us; ways of hope, light, peace, and love itself.
Advent is coming even and especially in the midst of tyranny and death by diseases of illness, racism, gun violence, fear, hatred, animosity. God is still keeping the promises and covenants of old in our day- keeping them in and through us. The Beloved One is calling us to throw off the evils of our day and live with one another in the hope, care, light and active witness to the very Kin-dom of love.
I will sing of your love forever; Let us sing of your love forever....
