The diocese will welcome the Rev. Deon Johnson as our 11th bishop on June 13, 2020.

The original date of April 25 has been changed due to the coronavirus health crisis.

The June 13 event will be held at Christ Church Cathedral and will likely be radically scaled down from original plans.

Please watch for new details as they become available.

We are excited to welcome the Rev. Deon Kevin Johnson as the 11th Bishop to the Diocese of Missouri!

Our plans to ordain our new bishop on April 25 have been put on hold because of the coronavirus health crisis.

Presiding Bishop Curry has set a new ordination date of June 13, 2020 for the event. The Transition Committee will be announcing new, scaled down plans as soon as possible.

Although the situation has changed, we still want everyone to be a part of this joyous event. We will livestream the ordination so everyone can watch and we will bring the diocese together for a proper celebration of our new bishop once this crisis is over.

Additional details will be added as they become available -- thank you for your patience and please be sure to check back regularly for updates.

The Ordination and Consecration of Deon Kevin Johnson:

     Christ Church Cathedral
