The Episcopal School for Ministry offers three different avenues of study, each designed to enrich students' capacity for ministry. The School provides options not only for those called to ordination but also for those seeking to develop their skills as lay ministers. The first avenue of study-Theological Formation, a three year program, prepares students to serve in their communities as deacons. These courses are mutually sponsered by ESM and the Lutheran School of Theology. Take a detailed look at the Academic Calendar and Schedule. The School is also expanding its offerings to include ESM Continuing Education courses for existing ministries and courses covering topics of interest. The third avenue is called Eucharistic Discipleship Program is a practical and theologically provocative course for all Episcopalians in the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri taught in 3 locations within the Diocese.
