Episcopal School for Ministry - ESM

"The Episcopal School for Ministry is an intentional community of faith that exists for deepening our discipleship of Christ and for forming makers of disciples."

- Rev. Canon Ralph McMichael, PhD, Dean

Welcome to the Episcopal School for Ministry of the Diocese of Missouri.

ESM Worshipping:

We are building a community of teachers and students to prepare persons for lay and ordained ministries, as well for those who simply want to deepen their knowledge and love of God. We do that through a three year cycle of courses combined with worship and fellowship.

We welcome your interest and look forward to serving you.

Thinking About the BOX, a New Short Course Offered at ESM

Thinking About the Box, is a new course offered by the Episcopal School for Ministry. Instead of the mantra, we need to think outside the box, Canon Ralph McMichael, Dean of ESM says we believe it is critical to think deeply about the box, to be formed into the basic shape of the Christian faith and life. Join him for worship, fellowship, and learning, as he will engage in the basics, taking the Apostles' Creed as his guide. Classes are January 26th, February 23rd, and March 29th. Cost is $100 for the full course which includes lunch. Contact Cory Hoehn, choehn@diocesemo.org or 314-231-1220. All attending the course are invited for Eucharist, beginning at 11:15 each of the Saturday's in the Chapel, inside the Press Building on the Second Floor; followed by Lunch and then from 1-3 the course study in room 240.
