Dismantling Racism

Mandatory Training for Clergy and Wardens

In response to a mandate from the 73rd General Convention in 2000 (Resolution B049), the Commission for Dismantling Racism will begin offering workshops for clergy and wardens of congregations on recognizing and eliminating institutional racism in the Church. The workshops are mandatory to function as clergy or to serve as a warden in the diocese. The training will later be expanded to include all employees of the diocese and the congregations.

The workshops are free and include lunch. Refreshments will be provided.

The next workshop is:

Saturday, July 21st, 2007 at Eden Theological Seminary
