Leadership Team
Student leadership is the hallmark of Wash U's ECM. Our ministries are generated, maintained, and grown by students. Our home, Rockwell House, is cared for by students. Our budget and administrative decisions are made by students. Much of our worship is designed and led by students. Students are at the heart of everything that happens with ECM.
Our chaplain provides sacramental presence and spiritual leadership to the community...
... but the students have the final word.

I am a graduate from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Chicago ('05 and '06), where I met my wife, Hope, and cultivated my love of obscure theater and small-venue music shows. I've served as a deacon in St. Andrew's, Chicago-- an amazing mission congregation with members from many nations-- and as a curate in St. John's, St. Louis. My experiences at those parishes (and elsewhere) taught me to believe that Church can be, and should be, exciting and fun. God isn't dry and dusty, and neither is the Church. I love theology, coffee, and good conversation -- especially conversation over coffee about theology! Drop me a line if you'd like to get in touch. |

Peer Ministers
Peer Ministers are students who take a prominent leadership role in ECM. They brainstorm and help run activities, equip other members for their own ministry, and most importantly, act as pastors to their peers. They're available to talk about matters of faith, offer a sympathetic ear, or just catch for a cup of coffee and chat-- all from the perspective not of fellow student.

Music & Liturgy Team
The Liturgy/Music Team is made up of students who want to learn about liturgy, and take a hand in designing our worship. We meet weekly with our chaplain, to discuss liturgy, brainstorm, pick music, and craft that week's service. Worship designed by students, for students: this isn't your grandmother's Church. :)

Help get the word out about Rockwell House events! The Marketing (or "Markering") Committee makes the huge paper banners that hang in Malinkrodt (thus the "markers"), design posters/fliers, post them on campus, can take a hand in our website, write for/ design the newsletter, or any other task they'd like to help with.
