Over the summer Heidi Clark (that's me) coordinator of Youth Ministries in the Diocese, met with youth volunteers and clergy throughout the diocese to talk about being in ministry with teenagers. We walked the facilities and dreamed up ways of finding creative space options, looked over curriculum options, talked about leadership training, and perused church calendars to make certain the youth program was a part of the overall congregational identity. I met with folks in Florissant, De Soto, Cape Girardeau, Lake Saint Louis, Clayton, Ladue, University City, the Cathedral, St. Charles, All Saints/St. Louis, and Wildwood.
