Church of St. Michael & St. George

The Episcopal Church of St. Michael and St. George

Worship

We experience the glory of God through worship; that experience is central to our life here at St. Michael & St. George.

Music

St. Michael's has a long tradition of beautiful, powerful music ministry.

Ministry

Every parishioner at St. Michael's is a minister due to the fact that they are baptized. Our goal at St. Michael's is to have every person live Christ's life into the world through some form of ministry.

Education/Formation

Our goal is to come to resemble Jesus more and more, day by day, through the practice of holy habits and saintly skills. Living into our baptismal identity is a lifelong process, so we provide opportunities for education and formation for parishioners of all ages.

"Over twenty years in parish ministry, and in the midst of my ninth year at the Church of St. Michael & St. George, I have come to the conclusion that the most important question at a church is not, 'How many people are here on Sunday morning?' or 'What should we do with them when they show up?' but 'What are the habits, skills, and attitudes needed to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and to be able to share those habits, skills and attitudes with others?"
