Call Your State Senators about Missouri Senate Resolution SCR 33 on Sudan
Background

Missouri State Senator Joan Bray introduced SCR 33, a resolution, that urges President Bush, the U.S. Department of State, and Congress to more actively support the peace efforts in Sudan. The purpose of this resolution is to raise awareness and further the St. Louis Save Darfur's Coalition mission of educating the public. The MO House passed a Darfur resolution in 2006, also symbolic in nature. Below is a link to the full text of the resolution:

The resolution will now move to Senate floor and we need your help in urging state senators to vote for the passage of SCR 33.
