Christ Church Cathedral seeks Director of Christian Education for Youth and Children
Christ Church Cathedral seeks an innovative, energetic Director of Christian Education for Children and Youth. Christ Church Cathedral uses the Godly Play and Journey to Adulthood curricula, and emphasizes service learning in the Christian formation programming for youth. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; experience in youth leadership coordination, youth ministry, or middle or high school teaching preferred. The ability to work independently is essential. This is a permanent, half-time, 10-month position, salaried at $17,000 per year. Cathedral staff meetings are held on Tuesday mornings; other weekday hours are flexible. The Director is responsible for leading some evening and Saturday events each month, and is expected to be present each Sunday during the church school year.
