Good Friday Offering Information for Episcopal Church in Jerusalem
Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori has asked Episcopalians to continue praying for their sisters and brothers in the Holy Land and to support this Good Friday Offering as an opportinity to demonstrate
our solidarity with Anglicans and Christians in that troubled region of the world. For the past 86 years, our Church has sent a Good Friday Offering to the Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and Middle east, symbolizing unity with and poassionaate concern for those who witness to Christ thoughout that region. Support for this Good Friday Offering represents operating hospitals, schools, orphanages, and many other programs accomplished for the benefit of all people in the Province: Christian, Jewish, and Muslim alike.
