New Dates for Diocesan Youth Fast: April 18-19th, Spotlighting World Hunger
Youths from all over the Diocese will gather at the Church of the Advent in Crestwood on April 18-19th for the annual 30-hour Famine. (The date had to be changed from February due to inclement weather.) Teens will begin their fast after lunch on Friday, then gather at Advent from Friday at 6 p.m. to Saturday 6 p.m. The program ends with a short worship service followed by a meal. The students will collect pledges in support of World Vision programs to alleviate hunger and poverty, especially in parts of Africa and Latin America.
