Monday, November 3rd, 2008

The Holidays are an especially difficult time for those of us facing them without loved ones.

Holiday Hope is a gathering of people whose loss of a loved one is making getting through the holidays especially hard. This workshop helps families work through the grieving process, and promotes wholeness and healing. It is faith based, but non-denominaltional.

The format includes a clergy panel discussion, suggestions for creating memorials for loved ones, candle lighting, and annointing for those desiring it.

The afternoon will conclude with a simple supper in the parish hall.

Holiday Hope is free and open to anyone in the Rolla area who has lost a loved one and would like to participate. Please make a reservation no later than December 1 by calling the Church office, 573-364-1499.
