Keynote Address
Bishop Smith will continue with the themes he shared at the Fall Clergy Conference and in his address to the 169th Convention of the Diocese of Missouri, specifically, what it means to be a missional leader.
Finding your Mission
How do you determine the specific mission of your congregation? This workshop will help you find ways for your congregation to live mission in your neighborhood or community; how to determine resources and identify needs.
Stewardship in Difficult Times
We live in difficult financial times. Layoffs and market fluctuations are daily headlines. Many of our members face significant financial uncertainties. This workshop explores how we approach stewardship in times of uncertainty.
From Disciple to Apostle
Scripture uses both of these terms to describe the twelve and others who followed Jesus. What is the meaning of each of these titles, how do they differ, how do you move from one to the other? This workshop will examine these and additional scriptural images as we seek to move our congregations into Mission.
Planning for Mission
When our congregation has identified its missional call, what strategic plans do we create to carry out that mission. What are the questions to be answered and what actions do we take to become a missional congregation.
Communicating your Mission
From Bulletin Boards to the Internet, this overview identifies the spectrum of low-tech to high-tech ways to tell our missional stories to our diverse audiences of congregation, community, and diocese.
Stating your Vision
This workshop examines how we state the mission of our congregation; simply, clearly, and compellingly.
At St. Martin’s, 15764 Clayton Rd, Ellisville. The cost is $15 per person. Registration form is online, and due with payment by Monday, February 23rd.
