First Day at Lambeth from Larry Benfield of Arkansas
All day Wednesday, July 16, people gathered for the Lambeth Conference on the University of Kent campus in Canterbury. There were the usual long lines for registration and room assignments, even long lines at supper yesterday evening. You will find people arriving in purple cassocks, in clerical collars, a few in the habits of nuns and monks, and a lot of us in regular street clothing.
