ESM Online bookclub

The Ancient Practice-8 Wonderful Books

is a new book club forming under the direction of ESM faculty member the Rev. Rod Wiltse.

Online, Last Mondays in the month, beginning at 7:30 PM (cdt)

You purchase your own books and of course, read them.

The on-line chat will begin on the last Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. A discussion area will be open throughout the final week of each month (or longer) for on-going conversation and discussion.

We've a lovely online discussion area at nfomedia.com, but it is private and you'll need an invitation to join us. Please contact Fr. Rod at wiltse@charter.net for an invitation.

After you've been invited:

http://www.nfomedia.com/1093/

You'll have a spot in the discussion area saved for the email address you've sent. If you don't have an nfomedia account, you'll need to create one with that email address, your name, and a password.

The virtual discussion area has a chat room for the real-time discussion on the last Monday of each month, and bulletin boards for ongoing conversation the next week (or longer).

Class Discussion Process on Monday evenings

Monday night real-time discussions are held in the chat room. On the right hand column is a list of all participants currently in chat, ordered by when they arrived. The bottom field is where you type your comments. The conversation appears in the large text box in the middle.

Each month we will open the meeting with introductions and we will do that in order of the list on the chat-room page.

At the close of our discussion, we'll travel the circle once more for summations or reactions.
After our discussion, there will be opportunity for you to post comments and/or, responses on this message board. This will allow the discussion tocontinue through the next month, if you wish to do so.
